Wireless microphones really help singers free up their performances and this dual microphone system means that a duet can really come to life, without tangling the singers in mic leads. In addition to the two microphones, the pack includes a charging dock and a separate receiver/amplifier unit. This is a great piece of equipment for any public address application, be it a DJ's announcements, a community event, a political rally, a corporate presentation, or a town hall meeting.
The microphones communicate with the amplifier over ultra-high frequency transmissions with FM modulation. This gives a good stability with variations of just plus and minus 0.005 per cent. Those transmissions can deliver quality sound up to a distance of 170 feet and a silence circuit cuts off the output if the microphones go out of range, preventing static playing out over the speakers.
The microphones fit into one single charger, which includes two slots, so both can be charged at the same time. A full charge takes 10 hours and the microphones will function well for 6-8 hours on a full charge. There are five units that operate on different frequencies, which means, by installing the full set, you can have 10 microphones operating in the same venue without the fear of interference.
All the elements of this equipment pack are design to stylish standards. The base station and the amplifier are colored a dark grey with the microphone stems constructed in gray-painted metal.
